Jacuzii at The New Normal Festival with Mae Martin

  • Le Gothique, Royal Victoria Patriotic Building John Archer Way Windmill Road London SW18 3SX United Kingdom (map)

Come on in, the water's fine... In this bumper version of our critically acclaimed improvised comedy show, an all-star cast of improvisers will be joined by our very special guest 'monologist' Mae Martin.

Mae will take a one-word suggestion from the audience to inspire her ‘monologue’ - true stories, opinions, thoughts, and anecdotes from her own life. These monologues are sometimes dark, sometimes racy, usually weird and always real!

Our all-star team of improvisers will then use these monologues to inspire completely improvised scenes and sketches, for a fast-paced, electric and hilarious hour of comedy. Every show is completely different, but one thing is for sure - It’s all created in the moment, before your very eyes.

She stars in and Co-wrote the Netflix and Channel 4 comedy drama Feel Good. Her most recent stand-up show, Dope, was nominated for Best Comedy Show at the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Awards while earning four and five star national reviews. The show has since been turned in to a stand-up special for Netflix as part of their first global stand-up series, Comedians of the World
